Senior Power & Renewables Market Analyst, Pretoria

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Power & Renewable Market Analyst based out of our Pretoria office. The Power & Renewable Research team produces research and quarterly written and data-centric analysis of company-, technology- and sector-level developments for a global audience of public and private sector clients.

Client presentations and advisory research projects also form part of the regular workload.

What You Need to Have:
• A degree in Power, Economics, Finance, International Relations, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in power markets, economics, renewable technology analysis, and research.
• Strong problem-solving skills using critical, rational, and creative thinking.
• Excellent writing and numeracy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
• Experience in power market economics, politics, electricity prices, transmission grids, power storage, renewables, or decarbonisation topics.
• Clear and concise writing skills, with ability to convey key points effectively.
