About Insights & Advisory (IA) Our Insights and Advisory team play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance and data-driven insights to organizations.

By analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and business data, our team helps decision-makers make informed choices that can positively impact their organization's performance and bottom line. We work across diverse industries and sectors like Technology, Indus trials, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Logistics, including market research, strategy, sales and marketing, R&D, and more. Key responsibilities will include:
Support the strategy team of an energy company by providing bespoke research and analysis specific to competitor intelligence and industry research, and financial or operational benchmarking. Conduct qualitative research on multiple areas in the energy sector, including but not limited to, oil & gas, renewable energy and power markets, low carbon value chain for technologies such as hydrogen, CCS etc.

Prepare standard or custom products including theme-based/industry analysis by analysing major industry trends at a global/ regional level. Carry out deep-dive competitor analysis, industry analysis and other bespoke studies for the client. Structure problems and plan delivery along with project managers. Actively support project leads in project management responsibilities. Client and stakeholder expectation management, including internal communication, leading client calls, and providing thought leadership to the team.

Contribute actively to project/team discussions and work on various team/group specific strategic initiatives. What we expect of you/Skills we’re looking for/Qualifications 3-6 years of business research experience, proficient in secondary research. Relevant industry (Energy - oil & gas/renewables & power) experience will be required. Relevant experience in each of the following: data compilation and analysis, synthesis and presentation, with excellent skills in drawing insights from information.

Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills. Team player with an ability to work in challenging situations. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel. Familiarity with relevant research databases (knowledge of Wood Mackenzie, IHS etc. will be an added advantage). Ability to understand the link between client needs, cross reference it with available industry information, and formulate insights. Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work.

Education and experience:
