About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor to lead its Climate Urgency campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the campaign strategy to elevate the urgency of climate action in the face of increasing extreme weather events. This includes countering disinformation from climate deniers and building political power for the climate movement. The role involves coordinating with various teams, managing a project manager and consultants, setting campaign metrics, and ensuring that the campaign is aligned with the organization's goals. The Senior Advisor will also be expected to anticipate the needs of the campaign, generate media opportunities, and steward relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Senior Advisor position should have a minimum of 10 years' political experience, with at least 5 years in people and/or campaign management. Experience in leading large-scale campaigns with paid communication strategies and working with high-profile stakeholders is essential. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and to be available for unpredictable hours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of fostering trust, building consensus, and managing interdepartmental communication. Strong strategic campaign and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage complex projects, are also necessary.
