Corteva is seeking a Community Safety Specialist for their Seed Product Development team in Cairo, GA. The role involves developing safety protocols, monitoring safety data, conducting audits, and training team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and sustainability in agricultural product development.
Welcome to Corteva's Seed Product Development team, where we are dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable products for farmers around the world. We are currently seeking a Community Safety Specialist to join our team and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of safety for both our customers and the environment. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and practices, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. If you are passionate about promoting safety and making a positive impact in the agricultural industry, we would love to have you on our team.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for all stages of seed product development, from research and testing to production and distribution.
Monitor and review safety data and reports to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety is considered in all aspects of product development.
Conduct safety audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulations and company policies.
Train and educate team members and stakeholders on safety practices and procedures.
Act as a point of contact for any safety-related inquiries or concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to product safety.
Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents, and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Work closely with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
Foster a culture of safety within the team and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety processes and procedures.
Communicate safety updates and initiatives to team members and stakeholders through various channels, such as meetings, training sessions, and newsletters.
Serve as an advocate for safety within the agricultural industry and promote the company's commitment to sustainability and responsible product development.
Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure that safety information is accurately and effectively communicated to customers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety-related data, incidents, and training.
