Secure Vehicle Communications Job

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to work on secure, private and green vehicle communications. This project focuses on ensuring both hardware and software security is essential in modern vehicles.
• A master's degree in computer science, wireless networking, computer engineering, mathematics or electronic engineering is required.
• Candidates must have knowledge of:
• a. Cybersecurity mechanisms in the automotive domain.
• b. Intra-/inter-/extra-vehicular communication protocols and technologies.
• c. Domain-specific safety and privacy standards and regulations.
• d. Programming languages: Java, C, C++, Python.
• e. English language proficiency is necessary.

Research Topic

The objective of this research is to guarantee secure software design and development techniques and protocols at the operating system level for intra- and extra-vehicular communication (V2V, V2I, V2X).

This research will be supported by PNRR SERICS Spoke 7 SCAR - Securing the third millennium Cyber CARs project.

Project Overview

The SCAR project aims to prototype, verify and validate innovative and intelligent technologies for both Hardware and Software security of modern cars in their ecosystem, respecting current standards, privacy rights and legal aspects.
