Scientific Research Expert

The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences seeks an exceptional Scientific Research Expert to join our team. As a Fellow of the Emerging Innovators Programme, the successful candidate will have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and be from a Black/Black heritage background.

The selected individual will contribute to the group's research, planning and carrying out research according to agreed objectives, preparing work for publication, and presenting at seminars and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research in line with project objectives
• Collaborate with colleagues and external partners
• Participate in project and research group meetings
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
• Present at academic conferences

Requirements:
• PhD in Biomedical Sciences, due to complete by March 2025
• From a Black/Black heritage background
• Either UK domiciled researcher or non-UK domiciled researcher with a UK degree and/or PhD
