Job Description
Voltage LLC is seeking a Sales Manager for Utility-Scale Solar Projects, responsible for account management and customer relations. The role involves nurturing existing accounts, acquiring new customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with various departments. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, 5+ years in sales within the solar industry, and strong communication and negotiation skills. This position is remote, with regular travel required to customer sites.

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will help the Director of Sales to satisfy all customers’ expectations and needs. This position is responsible for Account Management of existing and prospective customers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Nurture relationships with existing assigned customers and “open up” new Customers.
• Bring purchase orders for Company products and solutions to achieve or exceed agreed sales plans.
• Understand the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutions.
• Work closely with other departments to affect total customers satisfaction, particularly via superior design and quoting assistance, timely deliveries, and fast and pragmatic handling of customer claims.
• Acquire sufficient product knowledge to answer non-expert customer questions.
• Prepare and maintain proper documentation throughout the sales and warranty processes.
• Participate in meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals, forecasts, and current orders.
• Establish and maintain ongoing relations with existing customers and develop relations with new customers.
• Process and report customer suggestions and complaints and assist in solving such.
• Regularly create and maintain CRM entries, reports, and presentations.
• Assist in training new hires as the company grows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Experience/Education/Skills Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another related field required.
• 5+ years’ professional sales experience required, in the utility-scale Solar Industry.
• 2+ years’ experience in outside business-to-business sales required, preferably in the utility scale solar industry, with a demonstrated track record of developing clients from prospects to buying customers.

• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated track record of closing deals.
• Passion for sales, relationship building and customer loyalty.
• Strong ability to collaborate with partners and peers across the organization and outside to achieve project and operational results.
• High Level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment as well as on the road. Regular travel to customer offices and construction sites is a key requirement for this position. Must be willing to accommodate working conditions at customer construction sites that involve “hard hat/PPE” areas that may be dusty, muddy, cold, or hot. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
