A global manufacturer of specialty polymers and advanced materials is seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental Specialist to join its flagship production site in Southern Mississippi. What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll lead plant-level safety, environmental, emergency response, and security programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and DHS regulations. You’ll implement and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plans (RMP), drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance, and coordinate audits, training, hazard assessments, and emergency preparedness drills. As a Hazmat Technician and Incident Commander, you’ll play a key role in on-site emergency response, working cross-functionally to support safe operations and mitigate risk.

What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor's in Industrial Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SHE experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of federal/state environmental and safety regulations
• Experience with PSM, RMP, and industrial emergency response
• Hazmat and Incident Commander training required
• Professional Safety certification and Certified CPR Trainer (preferred)
