SOLO & TEAM OTR CDL A Class DRIVERS

CAT TRUCKING LLC is hiring reliable OTR CDL A Class Drivers in Illinois. Responsibilities include safely transporting goods, operating various truck types, conducting inspections, and maintaining delivery records. The role requires a valid CDL, strong navigation skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with pay ranging from $2,200 to $3,500 per week, with additional benefits.
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties
• Operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
• Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow company policies regarding safety protocols and best practices.

Skills
• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Ability to operate various types of trucks including flatbed, tanker, and roll-off trucks.
• Experience with loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
