Star Nursery is hiring Rock Yard/CDL Drivers in Pahrump, NV. The role involves delivering rock and soil materials to residential and commercial customers, ensuring safe loading and unloading. Candidates need a Class A or B CDL, a clean DMV record, and must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Rock Yard CDL Drivers

Our Rock Yard CDL Drivers are integral part of our Customer Service Delivery to Residential & Business customers. Our drivers deliver rock & soil material to neighborhoods, construction sites, & commercial businesses. Safe driving & Safe Loading/Unloading is essential. Product delivery is the final step in a happy customer experience, and our Rock Yard (CDL) drivers do that for us.

This safety sensitive position must take pride in providing quality customer service. Make deliveries in a safe and timely matter.
• Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time service
• Follows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usage
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Loading and unloading rock/Soil material
• Following the rules of the road / Star Nursery's Policies
• Delivering Decorative rock and soil Amendments
Requirements & Skills
• Ability to climb up and down from dump truck
• Ability to correctly tarp or adjust tarp on the tub if needed
• Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan in short- and long-term ranges
• The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Strong ability to interact in a positive manner

• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Suggested Minimum 1 year of CDL experience
Qualifications:
• Class A or B license
• Must provide a clean DMV record (3 year).
• Clean Background
• Provide us with DOT required Documents.
• effective and relevant work experience in dump tuck deliveries
• honest and hard working
• Must be able to work long hours (seasonal overtime available) in all types of weather conditions
• US work authorization
Physical Demands:
Daily activities include:
Sitting, Walking, Standing, Bending, Squatting, Kneeling, Simple grasping with hand, Pushing & Pulling, Lifting 0-60 lbs. Constant exposure to extremes in temperature, Labor intensive.
