Restoration Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water, fire, and other damages. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various environments. The Restoration Technician will be responsible for utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to restore properties to their pre-damage condition.

Duties
• Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
• Execute fire restoration processes such as smoke removal and structural cleaning.
• Conduct thorough carpet cleaning and maintenance as part of the restoration process.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various restoration tasks.
• Assist with asbestos abatement when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Build and restore damaged structures, ensuring quality workmanship throughout the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and progress.

Skills
• Proficient in carpet cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools relevant to the restoration industry.
• Experience in water damage restoration and fire restoration practices.
• Familiarity with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
