Energy Jobline is hiring two full-time Responders for Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves responding to global oil spills, maintaining spill response expertise through training, and adhering to safety protocols. We are Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL), a leading organization dedicated to global oil spill preparedness and response.

We are now looking for two Responders to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Benefits
• Salary of $50,750 per annum
• Vacation – 27 days of vacation annually, plus public holidays
• An annual target bonus of 5 - 7.5%

The Role
As a Responder, you will respond to oil spills worldwide at short notice, ensuring prompt and efficient support.
You will develop and maintain spill response expertise by attending a 12-week Spill Responder Course and ongoing training exercises, engaging in preparedness activities, delivering training, consulting on projects and maintaining operational equipment.
Adhering to safety protocols and environmental guidelines, you will provide expertise to various departments and represent us at industry events to uphold our reputation as a global leader in spill response.
Additionally, You Will
• Participate in on-call duties, ready to mobilize for spills globally
• Maintain, rehabilitate, and innovate operational equipment and contribute to its technical development
• Update operational guidelines to enhance the safety and effectiveness of response strategies and procedures
About You
To be considered as a Responder, you will need:
• To demonstrate and maintain excellence in one area of specialism, such as engineering, environment or other key skill relevant to the role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• The ability to travel internationally at a moment’s notice
• A full, valid driving license
• A degree in a subject such as Earth/Marine Sciences/Geography etc. and/or engineering experience or the proven ability to work at degree level
Please note, you must live within one hour of our Fort Lauderdale base or be prepared to relocate to be considered for this role.
