Job Description

Indiana University is hiring a Resilience Coordinator to manage operations of the Resilience Cohort and initiatives under the McKinney Midwest Climate Project. Responsibilities include supporting local governments in reducing emissions, overseeing Resilience Cohorts, managing grants, and facilitating community programs. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. The position is full-time and based in Bloomington, IN, with a salary range of $50K–$55K.

As Resilience Coordinator, you will manage day-to-day operations of the Resilience Cohort and related initiatives under the McKinney Midwest Climate Project. Your tasks include supporting local governments in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, overseeing current Resilience Cohorts, planning future ones, managing grants and projects, and serving as a resource for climate solutions.
• Serve as liaison to key stakeholders on partnership opportunities advancing institutional initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of issues and needs of initiatives, programs, and partners to make connections with university and external resources.
• Serve as community resource facilitating programs, providing technical assistance, and ensuring communication to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree in related field; 2 years of experience in outreach, engagement, public relations, or related field.

Preferred: Master's degree in public administration, climate planning, sustainability, environmental management, or related; 2 years of experience including planning and implementing multi-stakeholder projects; experience in planning and/or local governance.
