Residential Solar Technician / Troubleshooter / Electrician

Sun Up Zero Down LLC is seeking a Lead Solar Installer in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role involves managing a team to install solar panels on residential rooftops primarily in southern NJ. Responsibilities include following schedules, coordinating with the electrical team, and performing installations. Overview

Sun Up Zero Down is looking to add a Lead Solar Installer to our growing team. A Lead Solar installer is responsible for managing a team of 3 or 4 installers while installing solar panels on residential rooftops throughout the southern half of NJ. The majority of our installs are within 30 minutes of Atlantic County. Transportation to and from Job sites available if needed.

Responsibilities
• Follow job schedule
• Report to construction foreman and operations manager throughout the workday
• Upload commissioning photos to dropbox
• Provide and maintain a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Construct the PV racking system.
• Install Microverters on PV modules
• Install PV modules to the racking system.
• Install warning signs as needed.
• Install PV string homeruns.
• Coordinate and Label homerun ends with electrical team.
• Complete Testing and Commissioning Procedures
• Attend final inspections as needed
• Additional duties required as needed

Qualifications
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a crew lead in solar.
• High School or Trade School diploma
• Must be able to lift 55lbs and maneuver a large ladder and other equipment as necessary.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments (example: hot sun, cold weather, heat or cold in homes and attics)
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops and in attics of multi-level buildings
• Ability to organize and maintain paper documents and electronic photos and files
• Average math skill and ability to use a tap measure.
• Proficiency with smart phone camera and dropbox application
• Must be able to successfully pass a per-employment criminal and drug screen
• Must have a clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
