Research Assistant

Community Scholar Position

This is a unique opportunity to work with the staff at the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) to advance their mission of supporting safe and affordable housing for the community. As a scholar, you will be responsible for collecting, synthesizing, and presenting community data; supporting campus and community partners; and building relationships with local leaders.
• Publish a monthly research article discussing and synthesizing relevant research for the community.
• Review and synthesize relevant community data to be distributed for project-based learning classes.
• Create engaging data visualizations, timelines, and infographics showcasing community research.
• Develop boilerplate text for program grants.
• Represent the CCE at community meetings around housing, business, safety, and nonprofit issues.
