We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research Assistant for the RECESS (Research in Environmental and Climate-related Economic and Social Sciences) program. Conduct research: The primary responsibility of the Research Assistant will be to assist with research projects within the RECESS program. This includes conducting literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and assisting with the development of research proposals.

Collaborate with faculty and researchers: The Research Assistant will work closely with faculty and researchers within the RECESS program to contribute to ongoing research projects. This will involve attending meetings, providing updates on progress, and actively participating in discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Data management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing research data, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This may involve creating databases, entering and cleaning data, and maintaining documentation.

Analyze data: The Research Assistant will be expected to have a strong background in research methodology and data analysis. They will be responsible for analyzing data using appropriate statistical methods and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.

Contribute to research publications: The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to research publications, including writing literature reviews, drafting sections of papers, and providing input on data analysis and interpretation.

Stay up-to-date with current research: It will be the responsibility of the Research Assistant to stay informed about current research and developments in the fields of environmental and climate-related economics and social sciences. This may involve attending conferences, seminars, and workshops, and reading relevant literature.

Maintain research equipment and supplies: The Research Assistant will be responsible for maintaining research equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and ordering new supplies when needed.

Adhere to ethical standards: The Research Assistant will be expected to adhere to ethical standards in research, including maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the protection of human subjects.

Assist with administrative tasks: The successful candidate may be required to assist with administrative tasks related to the RECESS program, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing budgets.
