Job Description:
• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• 5 years of balance of plant distribution design from a consulting company. MEP experience could suffice as well.
• Perform electrical calculations and simulations to support system design and optimization, utilizing tools such as ETAP, PVSyst, and HOMER.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects, from conception through to commissioning.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and system specifications.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that designs and installations meet technical requirements and safety standards.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and address any concerns related to electrical systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies and electrical engineering practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
