Installation Specialist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced installation specialist to join our team in the Raleigh area. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing solar PV and energy storage systems, working closely with our electrical team lead to ensure high-quality installations.

Responsibilities
• Install solar PV system components and complete assigned tasks from start to finish.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Follow electrical line diagrams and equipment specifications to install high-quality photovoltaic (PV) systems correctly and efficiently.
• Adhere to project designs, requirements, and best practices to ensure quality and code compliance.
• Maintain an organized work truck and tools/equipment.
• Maintain truck inventory and assist with stocking and procurement.
• Upgrade existing electrical equipment and services on residential and commercial job sites.
• Assist with PV installations and rooftop work as necessary.

Requirements
• One or more years of electrical experience preferred.
• One or more years of solar electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to work atypical weekly work schedules.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces safely.
• General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, and OSHA standards.
• Reliable work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment.
• Clean criminal background check.
