Seaboard Foods is seeking a Renewable Natural Gas I&E Maintenance Technician in Leoti, KS. YOUR OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting RNG I&E Technician opportunity in Leoti, KS. The RNG I&E position provides instrument and electrical technical support to plant facilities and field operations. The position will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on control systems, and other equipment contained within the Plants. RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to diagnose RNG/CNG control systems including inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing equipment such as pneumatic valves, motors, SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instruments and electrical equipment componentsTest, calibrate, and document plant control and safety devices and ensure frequencies of required preventative maintenance tasks are kept currentRead and interpret manuals, policy, engineering standards, regulations, drawings, and schematics, including electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID'sParticipate in call out/on call requirementsFollow all established safety procedures for safe maintaining of all plant equipment.Ensure proper record keeping of preventative maintenance in equipment data files.Use the work order system to ensure all maintenance work is done in accordance with manufacturers recommended methods and frequencies. Understand and Support Seaboard's SH&E goals and objectives, and on-going improvement plans and activities. QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree in Instrumentation or Electrical background. Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experiences. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret in the English language correspondence, general business reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or reports. Ability to write clear, accurate, concise reports and business correspondence. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to make decisions on routine matters of policies. Ability to define and solve practical problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Good organizational and record keeping/troubleshooting skills preferred. Oil/Natural Gas experience is a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment varies from an office or control rooms to remote locations and outside climate-controlled conditions, dependent upon the situation.
