About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Technician to join our team.

This role involves conducting inspections and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel systems, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, PV circuitry, and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues in the field.

Key responsibilities include:
• Safely diagnosing and repairing active issues within the PV array from module to inverter level
• Reading schematics and understanding array configuration
• Applying lockout/tagout procedures and adhering to established protocols
• Performing low-level repairs, including combiner box modification/replacement and string repair/replacement
• Operating electrical meters, IV-Curve Tracing, Megger testing, and thermal imaging

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working with computers and IT platforms for reporting and tracking project progress.
