Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance on wind turbines and utility scale photovoltaic power plants and storage systems.

• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades under the supervision of an experienced technician.

• Complete Job Safety Assessments and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
,
• Identify and report safety hazards on the job site and suggest improvements.
,
• Participate in the 24-hour/weekly on-call rotation and work outside business hours when needed.
,
• Attend required safety and technical training for the position.
,
• Document completed jobs and implement supply orders as part of administrative duties.
,
• Complete daily work orders, time tracking, and any other required paperwork.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 1 to 2 years related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Must meet Qualified Electrical Worker standards.

• Possess a valid current driver's license and meet organizational requirements to operate motor vehicles.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components of wind turbines and photovoltaic power systems.

• Familiarity with CSA Z462 / NFPA 70E and ability to identify appropriate PPE for tasks.

• Basic understanding of schematics and ability to use a multi-meter correctly.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to understand, read, write, and speak clearly in English.
