Our client is a global leader in the renewable energy sector and is looking for a highly skilled Renewable Energy Systems Architect to join their dynamic, remote-first team, based in Atlanta, Georgia, US . This role is critical in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for solar, wind, and energy storage projects worldwide. You will be responsible for evaluating the technical and economic feasibility of new energy technologies, creating comprehensive system designs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy system modeling, grid integration, and the deployment of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management, finance, policy), conducting site assessments, developing performance simulations, and providing expert technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. A strong understanding of power electronics, battery management systems, and grid interconnection protocols is essential. You will also play a key role in identifying emerging trends and technologies to maintain our client's competitive edge. The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels is paramount. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy industry. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., PVSyst, HOMER, MATLAB/Simulink) and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are expected.
