Renewable Energy Sales Agent

Green Mountain Energy is seeking part-time Renewable Energy Sales Agents in Albany, NY, to promote renewable energy through grassroots marketing. Responsibilities include educating customers about energy choices and negotiating sales in retail settings. The position offers flexible hours, paid training, and a high commission structure. This role is not remote as it involves in-person interactions at various locations and events.

We are looking for motivated part-time Sales Agents to help drive our grassroots marketing/promotions campaign in the Capital Region (Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga Springs and more).. This job involves tabling sales inside of Retail Stores/Events. You are not just selling renewable energy plans - you are making people aware of the fact that they have a choice in where their home's energy comes from, and you are educating people about the importance of renewable energy and the need for its growth.. . Position Responsibilities:. Have a sincere desire to help protect the environment. Accurately and positively present Green Mountain Energy's unique value proposition to customers in retail and event booth situations. Effectively negotiate with customers to choose pollution-free electricity for their homes. Tenaciously and consistently approach customers with energy, drive and enthusiasm.
