Arctech is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Engineer in Chicago, IL, to lead utility solar energy projects across the U.S. Responsibilities include supervising installations, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring quality control, and providing technical support. Candidates should have a relevant degree and extensive experience in photovoltaic systems, with a willingness to travel. The role requires strong organizational skills and effective communication.
Job Summary : Join our dynamic team as a Renewable Energy Project Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and completing utility solar energy projects across the United States. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a robust background in renewable energy, particularly in solar, to lead complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar tracking systems effectively at customer sites.
• Coordinate with internal project stakeholders and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure installations meet company standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and proactively communicate with clients to identify and rectify any issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team, particularly for the Golden Tracker systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that arise during installation, commissioning, or operation stages.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are handled and maintained correctly to guarantee efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including installation updates, checklists, training certificates, meeting minutes, and troubleshooting logs.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and effectively communicate progress to all project stakeholders.

Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in photovoltaic tracker installation or more than 6 years of overall experience in the photovoltaic industry.
• Solid understanding of civil-mechanical photovoltaic installation, with a focus on driving and alignment of trackers.
• Willingness to travel frequently based on project requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with good written and verbal communication skills; English proficiency is desirable.
• Highly organized individual, adept at identifying priorities and executing plans efficiently. Capable of performing under pressure and in a multidisciplinary team environment. Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning new skills and commitment to the role.
