Renewable Energy Procurement Analyst

Capital Markets Placement is seeking a Renewable Energy Procurement Analyst in Oregon City, OR. Job Summary:

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves analyzing market trends, developing procurement strategies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support our client's operational and strategic goals.

Key Competencies:
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of vendor onboarding and management processes.
• Identify and describe key elements of an RFP and understand procurement's role in the sourcing process.
• Familiarity with key elements of a contract, including vendor compliance/deliverables, payment terms, and owner deliverables.
• Understand the core elements of a requisition and the role a procurement agent plays in processing a requisition into a Purchase Order (PO).
• Comfortable with reviewing contracts to identify vendor compliance/deliverables, payment terms, and owner deliverables.
• Ability to support business operations by running reports, proposing and supporting streamlining processes, or preparing flowcharts from outline form.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the energy or technology sectors.
