Renewable Energy Policy Director | Hybrid Remote WFH | £50k-£60k p/a | London

Location: Central London, near Southbank

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working arrangements: 2-3 days a week in office, remote / work from home rest of time

About the Role:

As the Renewable Energy Policy Director, you will be pivotal in shaping an inclusive, energy-specific regulatory framework that aligns with international standards and supports our missions in renewable energy, waste management, and health & safety.

You will collaborate with global stakeholders, including government bodies and industry leaders, to advance this vital project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of a standardized regulatory framework.
• Conduct in-depth policy and regulatory research in renewable energy and waste management.
• Engage with international stakeholders to gather insights and align strategies.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and consultations to refine the framework effectively.
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, providing timely insights to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Communicate progress and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Advocate for the framework's adoption among policymakers and influencers.
• Support ongoing policy initiatives within the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, public policy, or a related field.
• Demonstrable project management experience, ideally within renewable energy or environmental sectors.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks pertaining to renewable energy and waste management.
• Experience in leadership, management, and mentoring.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Adept at managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and the circular economy.
