Responsibilities
• Manage the Landfill Gas to Energy Facility to maximize production.

• Ensure safe work practices and environmental compliance.

• Conduct timely maintenance and compliance with contracts.
,
• Evaluate operational data to manage production capacity and reduce operating expenses.
,
• Inspect ongoing activities for safety and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
,
• Report and develop recommendations for corrective actions on equipment issues.
,
• Ensure compliance with air permit operational requirements.
,
• Represent the company during third-party testing and regulatory inspections.
,
• Manage relationships with power/gas purchasers regarding facility operations.
,
• Inspect and maintain plant machinery and equipment according to procedures and manuals.
,
• Implement safety policies and ensure adherence by all personnel and visitors.
,
• Procure plant supplies and manage the annual budget efficiently.
,
• Respond to plant shutdowns during non-business hours and rectify issues promptly.
,
• Identify backup staff and manage call-out schedules for emergencies.
,
• Maintain facility spare inventory and conduct inventory counts twice annually.
,
• Conduct plant tours to support community relations and represent the company as a technical expert.
,
• Participate in public forums for business development and community education.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
,
• 5 years of relevant work experience diagnosing and repairing internal combustion engines and cooling systems.
,
• Valid driver's license.
,
• Fundamental knowledge of computer data entry and interpretation.
,
• Ability to manage fiduciary responsibilities.
,
• Ability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
,
• Ability to travel up to 15% with overnight stays.
,
• Ability to diagnose and repair DC circuits 12/24 volts.
,
• Basic knowledge of 120/240/480 3-phase volt AC circuits.
,
• Understanding of concepts of 4160 volt circuits.

• Familiarity with basic principles of building maintenance.
