Renewable Energy Developer

Our client, a large renewable power producer with good financial backing, is seeking a strong Developer to acquire and build out wind solar and storage projects across North America.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present detailed project analysis to management and other key stakeholders
• Manage green field and existing projects to ensure schedule and budget objectives are achieved
• Negotiate land rights acquisition with landowners and address land use issues
• Work with Environmental Manager to define, apply for and manage complex federal, state, and local environmental, construction, and related permits, and support community outreach efforts with stakeholders
• Coordinate feasibility studies and project development activities with wind resource assessment activities with Wind Analysis staff, peers, and outside consultants to ensure projects stay on track
• Work alongside Power Marketing teams to manage interconnection studies, load flow analyses, and assist in PPA negotiations
• Ensure the company has accurate and efficient data processes to analyze organic and inorganic deals through modeling, cost assumptions, equity returns and other information
• Manage the investment business case on each project

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in renewable development
• Experience in US power markets
