Karbone Inc. is seeking a Renewable Energy Commodities Trader in New York, NY. The role involves originating and executing contracts for energy transition commodities, expanding client networks, and staying updated on market trends. Candidates should have 1-4+ years of relevant experience and a degree in related fields. This is a full-time position focused on building business relationships in the renewable energy sector.

We are expanding our Commodities business and seeking skilled Renewable Energy Sales Traders for multiple desks.

Responsibilities:
• Originate, structure, and execute bilateral deals/contracts for various Energy Transition commodities in North America, including Power, Capacity, RECs, and Renewable Fuels.
• Cultivate and expand a robust network of clients and counterparties, identifying and capturing new revenue streams among project developers, asset managers, IPPs, utilities, and other market participants.
• Conduct client meetings and roadshows, participate in industry networking events to build a book of business and grow company exposure.
• Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory landscapes to offer clients proactive insights and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
• 1-4+ years of experience in trading, mid-marketing, or brokerage roles.
• Proven track record of transacting in energy product markets or adjacent fields, such as RECs, renewable fuels, RINs, capacity, power, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Sustainability, Energy Markets, Environmental Science/Markets, etc.
• Polished business acumen with outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Track record of establishing new business relationships via cold outreach is highly desirable.
