Golden Valley Electric Association seeks a Renewable Energy Analyst in Fairbanks, AK. Role Overview: As a Utility Efficiency Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our cooperative's residential and commercial members through various initiatives. Your role will involve delivering technical guidance on energy efficiency and beneficial electrification, while also engaging in public outreach to promote awareness of demand-side management strategies.

Duties:
• Deliver technical guidance on energy efficiency and beneficial electrification.
• Engage in public outreach to promote awareness of demand-side management strategies.
• Offer administrative support for critical projects.
• Foster awareness and promote sustainable practices within our community.
Qualifications: A strong educational background, preferably with a BS degree from an ABET-accredited program in engineering, environmental sciences, community planning, or business development. An Associate degree combined with two years of relevant energy systems/audit experience or five years of electric utility work experience. A valid Alaska driver's license is required. Certifications such as Energy Manager In Training or Energy Efficiency Practitioner within six months. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively engage with members and foster community outreach.
