WhatJobs Direct is hiring a Remote Senior Renewable Energy Analyst to conduct market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis for sustainable energy projects. Responsibilities include evaluating the viability of renewable technologies, assessing regulations, and forecasting trends. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have a passion for sustainability and a quantitative background.
Our client, a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Analyst to join their fully remote team. This critical role involves in-depth market research, financial modeling, and strategic analysis to support the development and deployment of sustainable energy projects. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the economic viability of solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies, assessing regulatory landscapes, and forecasting market trends. You will develop detailed financial models to project investment returns, perform risk assessments, and contribute to the structuring of financing for new projects. Collaboration with internal teams, including project development, engineering, and legal departments, will be essential. You will also engage with external stakeholders, such as investors, policymakers, and technology providers. This position requires a strong understanding of energy markets, utility-scale renewable projects, and relevant policy frameworks. Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Python for analytics, specialized energy modeling software) is mandatory. The ability to synthesize complex information and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior management is crucial. This is a remote-first opportunity, demanding exceptional organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to work independently and effectively within a virtual team environment. You will be expected to contribute to thought leadership in the renewable energy space, potentially through reports or presentations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, a passion for sustainability, and a proven ability to drive impactful analysis. This is an excellent chance to influence the growth of clean energy and contribute to a sustainable future, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
