Job Description
Essel is hiring a Remote Project Manager for Environmental Engineering Projects. The role involves overseeing project operations, managing schedules, budgets, and client communications, while ensuring timely delivery. Candidates should have 5 years of project management experience, proficiency in project management tools, and a background in environmental projects. The position requires working night shifts to align with US clients.
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to oversee the daily operations of our environmental engineering projects. The Project Manager will manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position involves coordinating with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of projects and achieving client satisfaction.
We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar environment and comfortable managing workers in USA. So you will have to adjust your timing based on the clients location.
Your responsibilities will be:
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budget allocations, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external contractors to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
• Keep track of timesheets, expenses, etc.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for management, including project status, executive summaries, and final project reviews.
• Attend meetings with US team to ensure the project is moving smoothly
It will be an added bonus if you can help with:
• Basic accounting tasks like following up on late invoices
• Create and monitor budgets, P&L for projects
• Ensure accuracy of the data provided in reports
This position requires that you work nightshift because you will be dealing with US clients who are 12 hours behind your timezone.
Requirements:
• 5 years of project management experience
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Trello, Airtable, MS Project or similar
• 2 years of experience in managing construction or environmental projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
