You will work closely with relevant stakeholders and organizations in Denmark and Europe, producing and collecting relevant data to provide targeted input to key stakeholders in the field.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and interpreting regulations and upcoming legislation in the energy sector, including Power to X, grid connection, batteries, heat legislation, etc.
- Staying updated on and influencing the regulatory areas affecting the connection of green energy plants and Power to X.
- Political lobbying and collaboration with interest organizations.
- Monitoring legislation and other regulations relevant to the development and operation of wind and solar projects in the markets where European Energy is present today and in the future.
- Monitoring Danish and international press related to Power to X, drafting press releases and pitches, and keeping selected trade journalists informed about current projects.
Desired Qualifications:
- A master's degree in political science, public administration, sociology, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a politically driven environment, preferably in climate, energy, or transportation sectors.
- Strong communication skills in Danish and English, with additional language proficiency being a plus.
- Comfortable in a specialist role and motivated by in-depth knowledge of political and regulatory agendas.
- Hands-on experience with renewable downstream technologies like heat, Power to X, or energy storage is a plus.
What We Offer:
- Opportunity to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders across disciplines.
- A passionate and specialized international work environment where enthusiasm for our collective work shines, and collaboration between different professional disciplines is key to success.
- Prioritization of your development through our People Development Program, providing coaching, learning, and ongoing growth opportunities.
