Responsibilities:
• Every driver handling a tractor-trailer must adhere to strict road safety protocols.
• Perform in-depth examinations of vehicles before and after trips to certify their roadworthiness.
• Develop a strategic route optimization plan that prioritizes productivity and ensures deliveries are made on time.
• Guarantee the safe and secure transportation of shipments by following the specified regulations for handling and packaging.
• Ensure consistent and effective communication with dispatchers and customers at every stage of the delivery procedure.
• Maintain detailed documentation of both the time dedicated to work and the regular maintenance of your vehicle.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations established by the Department of Transportation to maintain the security of employees and merchandise in transit.
• Swiftly alert authorities to any issues concerning vehicles, incidents, or infringements to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
• Obtain a valid CDL license for Class A vehicles.
• Clean driving record.
• Completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and screening for substance abuse.
• Strong aptitude for arranging time effectively and harmonizing different tasks.
• Adept in the efficient and secure transport of heavy and unwieldy items.
• Capable of providing excellent customer service, skilled in establishing strong relationships with customers.
• Ensure that authorities are promptly informed of any vehicle-related issues or violations to maintain safety and adherence to regulations.

• Transporting goods and vehicles involves the use of diverse methods like Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler
• Items categorized as household goods are frequently used within household settings
