Regional Erosion Control Expert

The Regional Erosion Control Expert at beBee Careers in Waukesha, WI, will oversee stormwater management and erosion control for transportation projects. Responsibilities include developing procedures, collaborating with regional staff, and providing expert guidance. Candidates must have a valid Professional Engineering registration and experience in stormwater management. This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical skills.
As a Regional Stormwater and Erosion Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that stormwater management and erosion control measures are implemented effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with regional staff, project managers, and external stakeholders to develop and implement new or revised procedures and methods for transportation improvement projects.
Requirements:
• A valid Professional Engineering registration and ability to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state.
• Extensive experience in stormwater management and erosion control, including developing and implementing new or revised procedures and methods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform complex hydraulic analyses.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including transportation improvement projects, and will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to regional staff on policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines for all stormwater, erosion control, and noise-related issues.
