Job Description

Noble Research Institute, LLC is seeking a Regenerative Ranching Advisor in Ardmore, OK. This role involves providing expertise to develop educational products for farmers and ranchers facing real-world challenges. The advisor will support the implementation of regenerative practices through coaching, consulting, and learning events. Candidates should be lifelong learners, visionaries, motivators, and relationship builders, contributing to the improvement of grazing land practices across the U.S.
SALARY RANGE: $58,550-$73,185

At Noble, we believe the health of soil, plants, animals, and humans is one and indivisible. We believe in rebuilding healthy soils and helping producers maintain a strong bottom line. Through these two actions, we can transform degraded grazing lands across the United States, benefiting the environment and society as a whole.

Our focus is to help farmers and ranchers apply regenerative ranching principles to the nation’s 654 million acres of grazing lands. This monumental undertaking requires thousands of producers across the U.S. to overcome significant barriers and change their current practices to work with nature, not against it.

Our Producer Guidance team is at the heart of our mission. They are the key link connecting our internal research and ranch discoveries and educational outreach activities directly to our customers. We live to find new ways to generate usable information so farmers and ranchers can leave their land better at sunset than at sunrise. Our education and outreach program is the inflection point for transformation. Education has always been a part of who we are, but we know new opportunities exist for us to expand our reach.

So, do you want to join us? We are looking for a Regenerative Ranching Advisor

As regenerative ranching advisor, you will provide subject matter expertise to guide development and delivery of educational products that address real-world challenges facing farmers and ranchers. Farming and ranching is a business and like any business, growth and prosperity is the vision of our farmers and ranchers. Your experiences whether in business, soil health, grazing, ecology or other related agricultural field, will guide teaching and development of educational products that address real-world business challenges and opportunities facing farmers and ranchers. Through education, coaching, consulting and facilitated learning events you will present these offerings in a way that supports the owners, managers, and stewards of U.S. grazing lands as they begin or continue their journey to implement regenerative practices. This work is key in helping Noble achieve its goals and share the story of regenerative land stewardship with farmers, ranchers, potential donors, and society at large. The work you do can play a part in making a difference in a producer’s operation, their life and the society that depends on them.

You are:
• A life-long learner. First and foremost, you must be a passionate learner: personally professionally, everywhere, all the time. Your ability to educate and guide others stems from your desire to further your own knowledge and understanding.
• A visionary. You know that the motivating force in all that Noble does begins and ends with the farmer and rancher, and you strive to use your knowledge and skills to guide and educate for economic and ecological outcomes.
• A motivator. Your active listening skills and awareness of others and their behavior enables you to engage and guide learners in achieving learning outcomes by asking specific questions, fostering discussion, and encouraging self-directed inquiry.
• A builder of relationships. You promote trusting relationships with open dialogue and an outward mindset. You identify, cultivate, and steward all relationships in an effort to support Noble’s objectives and help our customers achieve their goals. You are a conscientious teammate who works for the success of others.

What you will do:
• Facilitated Learning/Presentations – Educate and facilitate learning of regenerative principles and implementation to owners, managers, and stewards of U.S. grazing lands through online and in-person educational products and materials. Ensure a successful and productive learning environment while providing guidance and support to participants. Encourage participation, listen, ask effective questions, and provide feedback to ensure participants are engaged and have a beneficial learning experience. Build community in groups through relationship building, sharing and open dialogue. Participate in speaking opportunities to offer key organizational messaging to enable partnership development, audience building, customer development and further marketing strategies.
• Learning Technology - Content Development – Work in tandem with instructional designers, marketing communications, and product team(s) to provide subject matter expertise relevant to the development of learning modules and other educational products for farmers and ranchers. Work collaboratively to ensure integration of knowledge and experience to optimize product development and services. Assist with development of partner-specific coursework or curriculum as needed.
• Advising – Provide consulting and mentorship to owners, managers, and stewards of U.S. grazing lands. Coordinate and support peer interactions that help producers implement regenerative management on their ranches. Assist with development and coordination of peer networks to build rapport and relationship management that will help customers achieve healthier soil, more productive grazing lands, and business success and help achieve Noble’s organizational goals. Through understanding and identifying customer’s needs, promote, guide and initiate connection of customers to Noble products and services.
• Educational Product Discovery – Work collaboratively with Noble research, ranch staff and marketing communications to understand market needs and identify the challenges, needs and opportunities of owners, managers, and stewards of U.S. grazing lands to align with and drive product development. Collect and review data to help understand what educational products deliver the highest value to producers and how to build those products to reach organizational goals. Provide program feedback from educational product delivery to internal teams for ongoing adjustments and improvements.
• Partnerships – Assist in the identification and development of partnership relationships that will help build the organization’s customer base, gain access to markets, expand into new geographies, influence adoption of regenerative ranch management or philanthropic giving. Engage with internal teams to collaborate on understanding customer needs and organizational solutions that may influence or engage partners

We will:
• Teach you. We will support you with professional development opportunities that will hone your skills and grow you professionally.
• Support you. We’re committed to building solutions for each other in addition to our stakeholders. Our team members make time to help, provide solutions, and remove roadblocks with regular collaboration across groups, regardless of where our office is. We are empowered and equipped with the tools that allow us to connect, to be intentional and to grow together.
• Include you. We come from different parts of the globe and from different walks of life, but we share the vision of our founder, Lloyd Noble, to improve the land for the benefit of all society. Our culture is inclusive, supportive, and diverse. We want to be a part of your story and you to help write part of ours. Your perspective and experience is invaluable. Come grow with us!
• Provide you. We offer competitive salary and benefits, including multiple options for health and retirement plans, employee wellness program, employee recognition program, and wellness center. In addition, we have a flexible working environment and organizational support for community involvement and volunteering.
