Learn about soil health and the soil microbiome; the connection between plant health and human health; water conservation practices; carbon sequestration in agricultural systems; permaculture techniques such as hügelkultur; high-tunnel growing and maintenance; growing year-round in New England without fossil fuel inputs; the connection between flavor and nutrient-density; how to adapt in our rapidly changing climate, and the intersection of farming and food with our farm-to-table wood fired pizza business.
Skills

Needed/Minimum Requirements
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with lots of bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and lifting.
• Great customer service skills.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work in both team environment and be self-driven.
• A positive attitude is a must.
Expected Responsibilities
• Develop skill sets for seeding, weeding, planting, cultivation, intercropping, pruning, harvesting, processing, flower-arranging, and selling through our CSA and farmer’s market.
• Field work and maintenance, harvesting and processing, and marketing farm products (veg, flowers, and pizza) are the main responsibilities.
