Agronomy and Conservation Expertise

This role requires expertise in agronomy and conservation practices, including regenerative agriculture, land management, and soil health management. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of current trends and technologies in these areas and be able to apply this knowledge to implement effective project strategies.

The Agronomy and Conservation Expert will work closely with farmers, suppliers, and research partners to ensure that projects reflect best practices in agronomy and soil health management. This will involve collaborating with local communities to understand their needs and developing solutions that meet these needs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in agricultural production management within Western Canada or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The key responsibilities of this role include implementing the design and technical aspects of agronomic project activities, reviewing and contributing to technical documents, and analyzing publicly available soil and climate data using carbon projection tools. Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build relationships and facilitate effective collaboration across diverse groups are also essential for this role.
