Recycling Waste Operative

OCS Group is hiring a Recycling Waste Operative in Birmingham, UK, for their Cleaning division. The role involves maintaining site cleanliness, sorting waste for recycling, and reporting hazardous items. Working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00. Candidates should have the right to work in the UK and a cleaning background is beneficial. This is a full-time position with a salary of £12.21 per hour.

Shift Pattern: 09:00am to 14:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Waste Operative to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the site and ensuring containers are neatly aligned in their designated areas.
• Sorting through waste and selecting items that can be recycled.
• Separating any timber, glass, metal, paper, cardboard, and electrical waste.
• Make Management aware of any items believed to be hazardous.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous.
• Flexible with working hours and days.
