Recycling Sorter

Synaco Global Recruitment is hiring a Recycling Sorter in Rooty Hill, New South Wales. The role involves sorting recyclables on a fast-moving conveyor, maintaining cleanliness, and performing safety checks. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and be able to work six days a week. Our client is the largest waste management company in Australia providing sustainable waste management solutions to a wide range of companies. They currently have new roles available at their Recycling station in Rooty Hill

Job Brief/Overview:
• Sorting recyclables from conveyor line - fast moving conveyor, repetitive work, noisy and dusty environment
• Cleaning of working areas and outside
• Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required
• Review existing procedures on a regular basis, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety
• Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.

Ideal candidate:
• Good work ethic, understanding the importance of turning up to work
• Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks
• Commitment to safety
• Able to work 6 days a week including weekends
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
