Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
• A strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and sort recyclable materials accurately.
• Team player mentality with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, contributing to the efficient processing of recyclable materials. Your responsibilities will include:
• Sorting: Accurately sorting various recyclables, such as paper, glass, plastics, and metals, from incoming waste streams.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that only acceptable materials are included in the recycling process and identifying and removing contaminants.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure and hazard-free working environment.
• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining sorting equipment as needed.
