Recycling Brokerage Customer Service Rep

Pratt Industries is hiring a Recycling Brokerage Customer Service Rep in Conyers, GA. The role involves coordinating shipments, data entry, and communication with brokers and accounting to enhance profitability. Position Summary:

Work closely and effectively communicate with Brokers, CSR's to assist in external sales of materials to increase profitability and achieve plant/division goals.

Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
• Coordinate 3rd Party movement from shipper to receiver to optimize service and efficiency.
• Coordinate shipments/pricing of fiber/non-fiber materials with Internal Broker.
• Initiate and follow through on all orders placed for material.
• Data Entry on 3rd Party loads, including brokerage, flatbed, roll-off and FEL within SAP and cieTrade software systems
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reconciliation on 3rd Party loads shipped within any given month.
• Communication with Corporate Accounting on any AR/Cash Application issues (may provide documentation).
• Compare/Analyze margin of 3rd Party transactions.
• Ensure revenue is captured within the month the load ships (key received weights timely).
• Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
• Follow all company safety guidelines.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences
• Bachelor degree or experience to commiserate
• Customer Service experience in Recycling, Brokerage, Logistics
• cieTrade software preferred
• SAP software preferred
• Excellent Microsoft office skills
• Professional Attitude & conduct
• Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills are needed.
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
• Willing to travel and work away from home when and if required.
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
