Job Description

beBee Careers is seeking a Real Estate Cost Analyst in Paris, France. The role involves supporting Business Unit Directors, delivering cost management services, preparing cost estimates, managing tenders, and providing technical advice on construction projects. Ideal candidates should have experience in cost management for real estate projects, knowledge of French construction regulations, and proficiency in English and French. A relevant diploma is required.
About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in cost management and contribute to the delivery of business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
• Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.
• Deliver high quality services and ensure that cost management deliverables meet clients' requirements.
• Prepare and present order of cost estimates and option studies.
• Cost planning and budgeting.
• Cost-in-use studies - study of the cost of building maintenance.
• Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
• Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process.
• Preparation of bids for services.
• Evaluation and reporting on tenders.
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
• Settling final accounts.
• Providing technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
• Administration of contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
• Production and presentation of reports to clients.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
• Previous cost management experience in major real estate related construction projects.
• Knowledge of French construction regulations.
• Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
• Knowledge of contractual forms of engineering missions, project management assistance, project management and in particular the MOP law and the NFP 03.001.
• Understanding of national legislation impacting on building contracts.
• Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written.
• Methodical approach to work and organisational skills.
• Excellent problem, negotiating, finance and numeracy management skills.
• Sound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Professional level of English and French.

Key Qualifications:
• Bac+2 to Bac+5, engineering school or equivalent.
• Diploma in the field of Construction Economics.
