Radio Frequency Electronics Test Technician

Mu-Del Electronics is seeking a Radio Frequency Electronics Test Technician in Manassas, VA. The role involves testing and tuning electronic devices, specifically millimeter-wave components from DC to 40 GHz, including synthesizers and amplifiers. Candidates should have a high school diploma (preferably with an Associate's degree), 2-4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or in teams are essential. Compensation is based on experience.
Summary:

Mu-Del Electronics in looking for a RF Electronics Test Technician to perform testing and tuning of precision electronic devices, per part specific specification documentation and test procedures of millimeter-wave active/passive components/sub-systems covering a wide frequency spectrum from DC to 40 GHz. This includes synthesizers, oscillators, switches, amplifiers, and filters.

This job requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable troubleshooting of electronic subassemblies to components level, able to collect, document and report on tests performed using oscilloscope, frequency generators, LNAs and spectrum analyzers.

Key Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent with Associates or Vocational degree in electronics
• 2 - 4 years’ of experience as an electronics/test technician
• Previous knowledge or experience in the electronics field
• Demonstrated computers skills to include MS Word and Excel
• Experience in testing equipment (i.e. frequency generator, spectrum analyzer, LNAs and oscilloscope)
• Experience in tuning of complex electronic components
• Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings and documents
• Able to work independently in a self-directed environment, as well as work cooperatively in a team environment
• Should have good command of the English language, both written and verbal

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications
