Job Description

Sunrise Systems, Inc. is hiring a Laboratory Quality Control Technician in Irvine, CA for a 6+ month contract. Responsibilities include verifying and logging electromechanical devices, maintaining lab equipment, troubleshooting returned devices, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience, strong computer skills, and familiarity with FDA regulations. This position requires on-site work.
Company Overview: Sunrise System Inc. is currently looking to hire for Laboratory Quality Control Technician Opening in Irvine, CA 92618 (Onsite) with one of our leading Medical Device Manufacturing clients.

Job Title: Laboratory Quality Control Technician

Location: Irvine, CA 92618

Duration: 06+ Month's Contract on W2 - likely to get extended if going well

Duties:
• Accurately verify and log incoming electromechanical devices, ensuring they match the return criteria.
• Receives and processes customer returned material for investigation. Maintains traceability for all samples received into quality lab from intake to final disposition.
• Review and search for relevant product information (e.g., serial numbers, part numbers) to confirm the correctness of the device being returned, ensuring it aligns with return policies and procedures.
• Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance for lab equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
• Performs hands-on troubleshooting of customer returned devices and completes associated sample investigation logs.
• Purchases material to support lab investigations and ensure overall lab organization.
• Supports product/process improvements through collaboration with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, etc).
• Ensures compliance with the company's Quality System policies and procedures and applicable external requirements and standards, including FDA, ISO 13485, and other worldwide regulatory agencies pertaining to medical devices

Must Haves:
• Strong computer skills (including Word and Excel)
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Years’ Experience: 1-3 years with intake of material

Skills:
• Familiarity with medical device complaint files and quality records
• Knowledgeable of FDA regulations, 21 CFR part 820 and Part 803 and ISO 13485 standard

Education:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's preferred.
