Job Description

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
• Participate in and potentially lead investigations into complaints and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
• Conduct supplier audits and oversee supplier quality.
• Carry out internal audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Assist with facility expansions, software validations, equipment qualifications, and process validations for both existing and new processes.
• Engage in and coordinate third-party audits, providing training as needed.
• Implement, maintain, and control systems and practices to monitor, evaluate, and ensure the quality of materials and products at all stages of production.
• Drive continuous quality improvement objectives.
• Ensure plant compliance with regulatory and ISO standards, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful quality engineer will have the following:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with roles in Statistical Analysis, Process Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, Testing/Inspection, Project Management, and Quality Control/Assurance.
• Proficient in Statistical Analysis software, Quality Management Systems (QMS), CAD, Six Sigma tools, and Root Cause Analysis tools.
• ISO 9001 experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, effective communication, customer-focused mindset, and time management.
• Some travel (up to 20%) required, with occasional work beyond the standard 8-hour workday to meet business needs.
