Amazon is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer I for its Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging team in Shreveport, LA. The role involves assessing automation quality, developing validation plans, measuring machine metrics, and collaborating with teams to ensure product quality. Key job responsibilities
• Develop an understanding and assess the quality of fulfillment center and IXD automation
• Ideate and author validation plans from a written set of product requirements with clarity on specific test cases to be executed against
• Measure and report machine metrics
• Provide thoughtful test reports which quantify and prove product maturity
• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure an aligned view on the quality of the product being validated
About the team
You'll be joining a team of Engineers who genuinely care about the Customer. Engineers who use data and scientific methods to measure the quality of the product and who have a passion for not allowing failures into the field.
- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
