The director will oversee the preparation and issuance of requests for quotation (RFQ) packages to vendors, ensuring that project requirements are communicated clearly. The evaluation of vendor bids, leading negotiations, and preparing recommendations for award in line with cost, schedule, and quality requirements are also key responsibilities. The director will manage the procurement process to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services, supporting the overall project schedule. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in supply chain management or procurement, ideally with 20+ years of experience in large-scale projects within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.

• Proven ability to lead and manage complex procurement processes, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and sustainability objectives.

• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make independent recommendations for long-term planning and project execution.

• Experience in developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives that support organizational goals, including sustainability targets.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing senior-level management and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Proficiency in systems, processes, and tools relevant to procurement and supply chain management, with the ability to lead the development of new processes and tools.
