We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Scientist with a background in environmental site assessment and remediation. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in their specialty and be looking to advance their career to the next level to support project management and business development efforts while continuing to advance technically. Alongside a diverse team of experts, this mid-level environmental professional will support a variety of small to large scale environmental projects through preparation of work plans, investigation and remediation strategies, review and interpretation of data, and regulatory reporting. Essential Responsibilities & Duties
• Perform data management and analysis, prepare reports and technical presentations for delivery to clients and regulators.
• Support development of conceptual site models, remediation strategies or design packages depending on specialty.
• Provide technical oversight for complex field assignments or construction management as needed. Overnight and weekly travel may be necessary to lead these field teams depending on scope and staffing.
• Coordinate and lead office and field tasks and provide project management support. Delegate work, train, and mentor project teams, as needed.
• Develop scopes of work and proposals.
• Support development of conceptual site models, remediation strategies and design packages.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior staff.
Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related degree; MS is a plus.
• EIT/GIT, PE/PG, or ability to obtain.
• 4-8 years of professional experience in environmental consulting.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel on short-term or long-term assignments as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
