NJR Clean Energy Ventures (CEV), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Project Manager (Solar/Renewables) to lead the construction and installation for various renewable energy and midstream projects. Provide oversight of the construction and implementation of multiple renewable energy projects oversight of in execution of the CEV project plan. Lead large Operations and Maintenance (O&M) outages on various renewable energy projects.

Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
• Actively manage the construction of renewable energy and midstream projects while working closely with our external "owner's representative parties" to ensure that projects are completed as designed, budgeted, and scheduled.
• Conduct site visits of prospective projects to consider viability of construction.
• Observe various pre-construction and post-construction site testing for adherence to procedural guidelines.
• Review contract and it's exhibits during the contract negotiation phase to ensure constructability of the project, acceptable project milestone schedule, effective contractor losses and damages and that CEV standards are being followed.
• Ensure that projects are built according to CEV requirements.
• Conduct inspections, which requires the interpretation and implementation of contract specifications; note any deficiencies and record on a punch list; direct contractor to remediation activities.
• Review and verify contractual payments for various renewable energy projects based upon milestone requirements being satisfied; apply losses and damages when project milestone schedule dates are not met.
• Manage maintenance inspections of renewable energy assets and schedule repairs and maintenance outages as needed.
• Manage the review of electrical and construction plans provide insight as required.
• Effectively represent the company and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, owner's representatives, and property owners through, inspections, system overviews and technical support meetings.
• Oversee the startup, commissioning and testing for new renewable energy and midstream projects.
• Manage and oversee the permitting and interconnection process.
• Provide support during development of renewable energy and midstream projects.
• Provide insight into the asset management process to determine deficiencies in asset performance.
• Assist in the development and preparation of various reports and presentations for senior NJR management.
• Stay current with recent technological developments and industry standards in the renewable energy and other pertinent field.
• Mentor and train fellow employees of lesser experience.

Position Specifications
• Bachelors degree in Engineering and minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the area of solar, construction, renewables or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain effective internal and external contacts
• License as a Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional Certification is desired
• Travel required outside of NJ, up to 50%-75%
